The DUKapka mobile application serves as a practical tool for navigating public transportation within the Ústí nad Labem Region, integrated into the Transport of the Ústí nad Labem Region (DUK) system. It aims to streamline travel planning and ticketing processes.

Key functionalities of the DUKapka app include the ability to purchase tickets, search for connections, and access real-time updates on traffic conditions affecting routes. This includes information on service disruptions, detours, delays, and the current position of connections, providing travelers with comprehensive journey insights.

Purchasing tickets via the application is straightforward. Users can select the desired ticket type and pay securely using a credit or debit card. Additionally, the app allows for the purchase of stock tickets, which can be activated at a later time. An internet connection is necessary for purchasing and activating tickets; however, ticket validation functions offline once the ticket is issued. Tickets become valid one minute after activation. It is also possible to buy individual and one-day network tickets without creating an account. For discounted tickets, users must present valid identification to verify eligibility.

Currently, the app supports the purchase of single and one-day network tickets. Once carriers implement electronic validation systems onboard vehicles, multi-day season tickets will also be available for purchase through the app.
